Hi I'm Emily, the glass artist at EMZglass. I absolutely love working with glass. I'm happy to chat and work with you regarding any custom orders or questions you may have. Simply message me here, instagram or via email.

This is my passion that I've been practicing for several years now. The thrill of making something from glass and opening the kiln, in the morning, to see how each piece has turned out, is such a delight.
I was struck with awe at my first glass bead lesson. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and knew this is something I had to do. I had a lot to learn, including setting up my glass studio, with a kiln and torch etc. Once I'd decided this was in my future, I just went through it all, trial and error, no turning back. I'm so happy I've stuck with it, as it is thrilling to keep learning and creating new and exciting pieces.

My grandmother had a love of Murano Italian glass beads and I now have the pleasure of treasuring her collection from Europe. I grew up in England, which is where I had my first glass bead lesson. Glass jewelry has been around for thousands of years. The beautiful thing about glass, is that if kept well, it wont tarnish and will last for many, many years.

My pieces are unique and I generally will get to the torch with a plan, but sometimes that plan changes into something completely different in the moment and I go with it. Unless its a custom order of course. My main love is creating pendants. As you can see there's a lot of heart pendants in particular. Over the past couple of years I have been dabbling with borosilicate glass more and whilst it takes a lot longer with my small torch, I"ve learned some cool new techniques like fuming etc.

Everything I've accomplished over the past several years has been challenging, from learning all the techniques in glass work to designing jewelry, setting up an Etsy shop, creating a website and marketing my creations...  My glass art improves with time and with the new skills learned. I enjoy it all so much.

I appreciate all the support in my creative endeavors as a glass artist.
I take great pride in my work and want to deliver the best customer service, with questions or making your custom vision a reality.

Thank you for visiting my website,
Emily at EMZglass
